We are a socially motivated organisation. Our aim is to improves the lives of those that come from financially challenging backgrounds.
Our method is through the following:
- Education
- Technical skills building
- Mobilising through assisting to create grass root community organisations
- Building board presence from this target group
- Increasing engagement in voting
- Research and report creation to build knowledge on problems
Our MD is heavily involved in community organisations and socio-economically challenged communities. Her passion lies in minimising in work and out of work poverty.
Building board presence and skills
Our pilot training package for getting individuals from marginalised backgrounds on to boards is set to launch in June 24. Our target is to teach and encourage a group of individuals from socio-economically challenged backgrounds, that have ‘lived around’ or been involved in criminal activities (non active currently): to be on decision making boards. This format will also be adjusted for young individuals (separate groups) and individuals that have been through the care system in some form.
Our aspiration is to work towards having individuals that have lived experience, influence the decisions that can shape the future generations lives, positively.
