Neurodiversity Employee Training Program Kirklees residents
Neurodiversity training: In today’s evolving workplaces, there’s a growing recognition of the importance of neurodiversity. Many individuals in the workforce, including those in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), experience challenges that come with being neurodivergent. That’s why we’re excited to launch a funded training program designed to empower and equip neurodivergent employees with the strategies and resources they need to thrive at work. This is an excellent opportunity for those who live or work in the Kirklees area to enhance their work experience and build skills for success.
About the Program
The Neurodiversity Training Program consists of four half-day sessions delivered via Microsoft Teams, making it flexible and accessible for busy schedules. Importantly, no official diagnosis of a neurodivergent condition is required to participate—whether you’re autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, or simply identify with neurodivergent traits, this program is designed to support you. Our mission is to create a more inclusive and productive workplace culture in SMEs across Kirklees. Leveraging Available Support: DWP Access to Work and More
One of the most valuable parts of this neurodiversity training program is learning about the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Access to Work scheme. This government initiative can provide financial and practical support for neurodivergent employees, covering everything from adaptive tools to mental health support.
You’ll also get insights on additional resources:
– What local and online services are available for neurodivergent support.
– Tools and techniques that can improve your workplace efficacy, from assistive technology to mindfulness practices.
– Methods to assess and select the right resources to complement your role and goals.
