What is the Management Skills bootcamp? 

The Management Skills Bootcamp is a dynamic, interactive training program that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. Our programme is designed for employed professionals looking to advance their careers. Whether you are a seasoned manager or an aspiring leader, our program offers the tools and insights you need to excel in today’s competitive business landscape. 

Programme Duration:  

This immersive program spans 7 weeks, with some self directed work, and is delivered through a combination of in-person sessions and virtual workshops via Microsoft Teams. This is providing flexibility to accommodate various learning styles. The training will take place over the 7 weeks at The Media Centre in Huddersfield, a vibrant space that fosters creativity and collaboration. Each day of the management skills bootcamp program will feature a mix of interactive lectures, hands-on activities, and group discussions, allowing participants to engage deeply with the material and apply what they learn in real-time. 

Who Can Join? 

 

This Inclusive Management Training Program is tailored for individuals aged 19 and above who are eager to enhance their employability in the marketing field. To ensure the program is beneficial for all participants, we have specific eligibility criteria. You must

1) live in the Kirklees area

AND

2) Be employed in a marketing capacity, or running your own business, with the scope to be given new marketing reasonability’s or securing new contracts as a result of your new learning.

or 

3) Be unemployed and be willing to take on work in a marketing role or customer facing role for 12 weeks or more, upon completion of your course (this is fully funded)

or 

4) Be self-employed and work towards showing evidence of contracts or business that is won, post completion of your course as a result of your new transferable skills. (sme 10% fee incurred at £340)

or 

5) Be employed and your employer to co-fund with 10% up to 30% of the course costs. You must be bringing in an ROI and take on new responsibilities that come from your learning (sme 10% fee incurred at £340, large employer £1,020)

 

You should not currently be enrolled in any other training program, and this program is ideal for those who do not already hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Marketing. You should not have been on any Skills Connect or Skills Bootcamp course since April 2024

 

Co-funded Training 

 

The co funded nature of the marketing skills bootcamp program eliminates some financial barriers to professional development costing from 10% for SME’s up to 30% for large employers. This makes it accessible for individuals who be able to have access to all the resources to invest in their training, ensuring that all participants can benefit from high-quality education.
